About Us
Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research site for adults in the UK who want to understand casinos that are not part of GamStop before they sign up to one. We explain the offers, the restrictions and the protections involved, so you can judge for yourself whether a site is worth your time. This page sets out what we do, how we rate operators, how the site is funded and where our limits are.
How the site is funded
We may earn a commission if you follow a link from this site and sign up with an operator. That relationship does not decide rankings or ratings, and commission cannot buy a higher position. The operators listed are supplied to us by the publisher, and we assess them against the same criteria. You can read the rules that apply to using the site in our Terms and Conditions.
What we cover and who it is for
Our readers are adults aged 18 and over, mostly in the UK, who are comparing online casinos. Some know the industry well. Many do not, so we explain terms such as wagering requirements, game contribution and source-of-funds checks without assuming prior knowledge.
Our guides and reviews cover:
- Bonuses: welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free spins, no-deposit offers, cashback and loyalty rewards, plus the conditions attached, such as wagering, maximum bet, expiry dates and cashout caps.
- Payments: minimum deposits, GBP accounts, debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, PayPal availability, cryptocurrency, fees and currency conversion.
- Withdrawals: processing times, limits, identity verification and how disputes are handled.
- Games: slots, progressive jackpots, live dealer tables, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, software providers, RTP and volatility, and mobile play.
- Sports betting: pre-match and in-play markets, esports, accumulators, bet builders, cash-out and free bets. We use decimal odds in examples.
- Protections: licensing, complaints routes, limits, self-exclusion and support organisations.
Our main comparison list is on the page Non GamStop Casinos: Best Online Casinos UK.
What "not on GamStop" actually means
GamStop is the national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling in Great Britain. Casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must take part in it. A non GamStop casino is run under a licence from another jurisdiction, often an overseas one, so it does not join the scheme. That has consequences you should know about:
- A site that accepts British customers is not necessarily authorised by the UK Gambling Commission to serve them.
- UK rules on affordability checks, limits and dispute routes may not apply in the same way.
- If you have registered with GamStop, a site outside the scheme will not enforce that choice for you.
We set this out plainly because it affects your protections. We do not describe any casino as completely safe, and we never guarantee withdrawals or winnings.
How we research and rate operators
We have not claimed that our team has deposited, played or withdrawn at any casino. Our ratings come from desk research: reading each operator's published terms, checking licence information it states, and comparing what it advertises with the conditions attached. Our editorial rating is our own assessment. It is not a customer-review score.
| What we check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Licence and ownership details | Shows who is accountable and which regulator you could complain to. |
| Bonus terms | Wagering, game contribution, maximum bet, expiry and cashout limits decide whether an offer is usable. |
| Payments | GBP support, fees, minimum deposits and conversion costs affect what you really pay. |
| Withdrawals and verification | Stated limits and processing times, and what ID or source-of-funds checks to expect. |
| Games and sportsbook | Range of slots, live tables and betting markets, and the providers behind them. |
| Support and complaints | How you can reach the operator and what happens if a dispute is unresolved. |
Confirmed facts, advertising and open questions
We try to keep three things apart. Confirmed information is what we have verified from an official source, such as a regulator or the operator's terms. Advertising is what the casino says about itself, including headline bonuses. Unresolved questions are points we could not verify. Where something is time-sensitive, we date it. Our information was last checked on 30 September 2026, and bonuses, payment options and terms can change without notice, so check the operator's current terms before you deposit.
Some of the operators we feature
Our current list is led by Betmica, Kikibet and Betninja, followed by WinnerIsland, Zombillion, Smash Casino, Nightluck, CoinPoker, Rivo and Daytonaspin. Their advertised welcome offers are large, but figures such as "570% up to £5,700" are marketing headlines. Bigger bonuses often carry heavier wagering, so the headline tells you little until you have read the terms. Some offers are listed in euros or dollars, which can mean conversion costs for a GBP account. We encourage you to verify UK availability and the payment methods offered before registering.
What we do not do
- We do not present gambling as income or as a way to solve money problems.
- We do not promise outcomes or guarantee payouts.
- We do not target anyone under 18.
- We do not write about other publishers or their articles.
Staying in control
Gambling should be affordable entertainment. Deposit and loss limits, self-exclusion and blocking software are there to help, and GamCare offers free, confidential support in the UK. If you have excluded yourself through GamStop, consider whether a non GamStop site is right for you at all. Our Responsible Gambling page explains the tools and where to get help.
